  • These clamps are new surplus from General Motors. I have not been able to find a part number break-down or any information from Norgren regarding these clamps. I will try to give you a little bit of information based on my observations. The cylinder has a 63mm bore, and a stroke cushion on each end. The ports are 1/4" NPT. It is a standard Norgren air cylinder. The clamp is very similar to norgrens "EC63D" clamps. It uses the same octagonal arm mount (same size). This clamp is built to standard (inch)dimensionsinstead of metric like the EC63D. The housing is a casting instead of being machined from a solid, like the EC63D. The clamp is 2 inches thick at the mounting point, the hole pattern is 2 inch by 2-1/4 inch, two holes are tapped for 3/8-16 bolts (opposite corners), and two are 3/8 inch through holes. These clamps have no provisions for a position sensing unit that I can see. These clamps remain locked even after loss of air pressure. They come with a sealed manual release button to open mechanism without air pressure. Enclosed design protects against contamination and dirt. Clamp part is 7-7/8 inch long not including air cylinder.
